before going to aussie, i was down with quite a bad cold and nearly have to miss going to the trip.. also, i was quite addicted to maple.. hahax.. thats why i didnt update.. =x well, lets start with day 1!!
040608( day 1 ): I WOKE UP LATE!!!! we are supposed to meet at 7am at the airport but my whole entire family woke up at 7!!!! hahax.. lucky i packed my stuff the day before.. so we brush our teeth and off to the airport we go! when we reached there, ppl are moving the instruments in and checking in their languages.. lucky i made it in time or else i could have stayed in singapore.. =.=
at the plane, i was being placed at the window seat and god was the senery damn nice!!! the service at SIA was terrific!!! they served the meals like no poverty on earth like that!!! i was so full when i reached brisbane.. in addition, they have television at the back of each seats so that we can play games, listen to music, watch movies etc.. it was so nice!! i am now officially a SIA fan! =))
after arriving at brisbane, which was about 8 plus their time, the temp was bout 20 degrees.. we are literally in an air conditioned city!!! but! their airport was not as good as ours.. i will rate it only 3/10.. but nonetheless, at least there is an airport there laa.. =))
we head back to our apartment( oxygen apartment) and unpack ALL our instruments.. we spend like 2 hrs to do it.. by that time, we were all so tired.. but the best thing for ME AND MY ROOM MATES was that our apartment was the only one with DOUBLE STOREY!!!!!!! its like a deluxe room.. even the teachers didnt get to have that kind of room available for them.. from what we heard, there are no more single storey rooms available.. so they have no choice but to give it to us!!!! omg!!! its like a heaven~~ well, we are all IN heaven there! =)) we explored our rooms, unpack our stuffs etc before heading to bed! oh.. did i mention that we have a living room and the kitchen in seperate corners? oh! and there is a PLASMA tv in the living room.. in my bed room, there is another tv!!! WE ARE BLESSED!!!
050608(day 2): woke up in the morning and i feel like i am in Antarctic.. it was FREEZING cold.. the morning temp was about 20.. in the afternoon was about 23.. and that seems to be the highest for them.. =.= as aussie is 2 hours ahead of spore, we couldnt quite adapt to there.. the morning view from our apartment was breath-taking!! i just feel like sitting in our balcony and just slack there.. but we have other things to do!! we went to the kelvin grove college to have our music exchange.. oh.. and queensland university is 3 times the size of NUS!!!! just image it.. if i am lost there.. best of the bestest luck man..
the students are enthu about us playing.. i feel that performing there and in spore is entire different.. the audience really played an impt role in ensuring us that they are interest in our performances.. and we all could tell that they enjoyed it coz they were swaying and clapping along with us.. =))
well, the rest of the events are not in sequence anymore coz thats how much i remembered.. whahahaha! well, we went shopping and met meiling's fren there name joel.. quite a good looking and nice guy.. he brought us to a food court to settle our lunch there.. not only that, we bought some food for breakfast.. what we got from the teachers are 4 packets of bread, jam, milk, apple juice, orange juice and margerines to last us for the entire week.. thanks to MEIWEN!!! we have egg myo, salads, nutella.. it really add colours to our meals there! also, he treat us DONUTS!!! think is 1 dozen ba.. or 2? nvm.. it was so DAMN NICE!!! hahax.. thanx dude!!
after all these, we went to a music university there for the supposedly music competition.. for rehearsals and also public performance.. 3 spore schools in total.. orchid park sec, CJC and us!! let mi tell u guys this.. WE ARE SO MUCH FRIENDIER THAN ALL OF THEM!!! whahahhaa.. we got high almost every now and then.. its so contagious that they caught it and we enjoyed every moments together!! it was so heart warming despite the cold weather.. but afterwards, got to find out that they are not going anywhere othere than the music fest coz their conductor asked them to STUDY THERE!!! LIKT LITERALLY FORCE THEM TO DO IT.. there cant go to the malls that often despite staying just next to the malls.. they cant go DREAMWORLD! haiz.. if i am in that school, dun even tell mi to smile lo.. =((
oh oh!! the WHOLE AKE saw something deservingly to be mention there in the OPEN SPACE AKA THE PARK WHERE we are having our lunch cum tea break.. we are entitled to watch a real life BIO PRACTICAL DOCUMENTARY live!!! just 50m to where we are sitting.. the title of this documentary is the process of making a baby.. as they have shown.. u need:

and a bag...

for the full 20 mins, we ate our lunch cum tea in quite an aweward manner.. they literally do it in front of the 37 ppl.. plus 1 teacher.. and they are not even embarrassed bout it!! i mean.. as we all know and have seen from various sources, the westerns are quite open about this.. but this is the 1st time we are actually experiencing it LIVE!!!! up till now, i am still wondering.. when they are doing it, what are they actually thinking?!!?!?! as my blog is PG rated, i shall not go into details.. for further info, come find me personally.. =))
thats not all.. when we return to the apartment at bout 6 plus 7, the sky was so dark that it is like 10 plus in spore.. their sunset is bout 5 plus.. god.. and the teachers still want us to sleep early.. how can we sleep when its like 6pm in spore?!?!!? thats where we on the tv and saw american's pie; the NAKED mile.. its ALL UNCENSERED!!!! i tell u.. day in day out got porn one laa.. but out of curiosity, we watched the entire show.. whahahaha.. they still repeat the entire show IN CASE someone miss it.. =.= erm.. i really dunno what to say?
btw, its rated m15+..
that includes the rest of the movies that we watched.. including a sexual educational show ( showing how to eh hem ) =.=
kkz.. back to the rehearsals and all these.. due to the schedule, we dun have enough practices to practice our parts.. sometimes, i am just too tired to even do my homework when i reached our apartment.. it was so damn hectic.. so much so for a deluxe room... we cant even enjoy the facilities there.. back to the music university, it was so big!! there is a mini orchard there laa!!! u can even sit by the man made river there.. the water there is warm.. ~ heaven!
well, lets fast forward to the day for our performance.. i wasnt feeling nervous at all! coz i noe that the audience wun mind if i made mistakes.. thats how good they are.. the year 3s have our last performance there.. which was an unforgettable experience for us all.. kulingtang fantasy was the best we have played so far.. much better than the recital.. conan in D was superb! suri ram was contagious! hahax.. we got extreme good comments from the judges... after that, we went back to the room and the year 3s cried.. nonetheless, i cried like there is no water on earth like that.. our conductor, miss wee teared too.. =(( its was so emotional for the year 3s and 2s..
well well... this is the fun part!!! GOLD COAST!!!!! OUR DEAREST DREAMWORLD IS WAITING FOR US!!! hahax.. well, after our competition, we packed our instruments so that we can enjoy the dreamworld the next day.. we packed till like 11 plus pm.. =.= i swear it was so tedious that i really wonder how on earth they managed to pack it for the aussie trip..
than off we go to dreamworld!!!! hahax.. i super love the kangaroos! and koala bear! i simply L-O-V-E it!!! i love the house of terror, the motoride, the cyclone and i simply yearns the claw.. its something like pirate ship but its definitely much fun and trilling than pirate ship.. i simply adore it!!
back to spore for a week and i dun really miss here.. how i wish i can be in brisbane for good!
